main activity is the construction and management on behalf Peninsula group
of High Tech and other Commercial Development Projects in Northern Ireland
and the Republic of Ireland. The latest development currently under
construction is the Ulster Science and Technology Park and Springtown
Shopping Centre in Derry.
The Ulster Science & Technology Park commenced in 1987. Buildings 1, 2 and 3 let to inward investment companies. The office blocks are designed for Large Hi-Tech Software and Computer companies. Tenants located in the park include Homeloan Management Ltd and Stream International and Raytheon Systems of the United States. Employing in excess of 1,000 employees on the park, the Ulster Science Park is the first and only private sector developed Hi-Tech Park in Northern Ireland. There is planning permission for further buildings on the park.
The buildings
are of world-class standard in terms of visual appearance and quality, which
meet the standards that companies have in their home base locations. The
Ulster Science and Technology Buildings and clients are used worldwide by
the Invest Northern Ireland to promote Inward Investment into Northern
Ireland.
Peninsula
have developed and built a number of high quality housing developments in
the city. Other work undertaken by the firm includes the renovation and
refurbishment of office accommodation, apartments and the restoration of
listed buildings.
